CCTV Systems
Deep Down Marine Technologies tackles the industry’s toughest CCTV security and monitoring systems. Post-9/11, the New York City Department Of Transportation (NYCDOT) wanted cameras to watch critical areas in three of their newest 4400 passenger “Staten Island” ferries. Deep Down Marine Technologies provided NYCDOT one of the most sophisticated CCTV systems available for passenger transportation ferries. The camera system and a digital video recording allow post-event tracing and real-time security on New York City’s most utilized transportation vessels.
Many oil rigs install CCTV systems to monitor the rig’s personnel safety. Cameras watch unmanned areas, machinery spaces, and potential hazard zones to keep the manning requirement on the rigs to a minimum and ensure a safer working environment. We now offer the Flir thermal imagin products with our systems.
Deep Down Marine Technologies’ most recent addition to our product list includes a “surround view” CCTV package for use in the private yachting market. Currently in the final stages of development, the camera system will allow a top-down view of a yacht to aid in docking and perimeter monitoring. This solution can be purchased individually or as a Sta~Sys product package that includes a full vessel management system and a dynamic positioning system.
