Bend Limiters

Deep Down, Inc. manufactures bend limiters in both polyurethane and steel, to fit any umbilical or flying lead. Steel bend limiters are utilized for steel tube umbilicals and are designed with a simple, reliable hinged attachment system; this hinged attachment significantly reduces installation time

Our Polyurethane bend limiters are provided for smaller diameter umbilicals and flying leads, as well as their compliant umbilical section. This modification turns a traditional umbilical to into an ROV friendly flying lead.

Bend limiters limit the bend radius of flying leads and umbilicals during installation as well as the necessity for underwater divers. Our bend limiters are manufactured to customer specifications, based on the outer diameter of the product that they are encompassing.

Steel

Utilized for steel tube umbilicals, these bend limiters are designed with a simple reliable hinged attachment system that significantly reduces installation time.   

Plastic 

Utilized for smaller diameter umbilicals and flying leads and their compliant umbilical sections, these bend limiters turn traditional umbilicals into ROV friendly flying leads.
