Bend Limiters
Deep Down, Inc. manufactures bend limiters in both polyurethane and steel to fit any umbilical or flying lead. Steel bend limiters are utilized for steel tube umbilicals and are designed with a simple, reliable hinged attachment system to significantly reduce installation time.
Our Polyurethane bend limiters are provided for smaller diameter umbilicals and flying leads as well as their compliant umbilical section. This modification turns a traditional umbilical to into an ROV friendly flying lead.
Bend limiters restrict the bend radius of flying leads and umbilicals and are manufactured to customer specifications based on the outer diameter of the product they are encompassing.
